2024 Flood Relief Chiang Mai

In October 2024, the northern provinces of Thailand, including Chiang Mai. The south east of the city was ravaged by what is considered the worst flooding in almost 100 years. Thousands of local residents had their homes and belongings destroyed by the flood water and mud.

Upon witnessing this event, Chiang Mai Nayu foundation took immediate action. We worked in the local resident villages and homes, cleaning out the mud from their homes, removing small and large items that were covered in mud and helping them restore some order back to their lives and homes.

Simultaneously we began collecting donations from the local community and purchasing mattresses, blankets, pillows, rice, and other essential items. Through working with local villages chiefs Chiang Mai Nayu foundation delivered this flood relief aid directly to the local residents that needed it so badly.

Below we share a brief overview of the main activities and accomplishments of our support and aid.
