Who We Are
At Chiang Mai Nayu, we are dedicated to working with the community of Chiang Mai to make and maintain the city sustainable for the wellbeing of its residents and the people who visit each year. Our commitment drives everything we do.
Every Support Counts
Since 2018, we collaborated to research and understand the publics view of the current state of Chiang Mai with regards to the four key dimensions of sustainability and what they would like to see in the medium long term. That was the original seed idea. And in 2023, we achieved official foundation status. However, we cannot achieve our goals alone. We rely on support in helping us make a real difference by developing the needed resources be freely accessible. Sustainability and personal wellbeing are unfortunately still areas that don’t find wide investment as changing the traditional practices incurs upfront cost while benefits are only visible in the long term. Therefore, as a non-profit organization, Chiang Mai Nayu can facilitate investment through developing the resources, providing change management advice, and public information that otherwise is costly to produce.
We are actively looking for partners who wish to support us in making Chiang Mai a model city of sustainability and wellbeing through community based action so that we can establish a permanent local team of experts to extent our reach and impact. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us achieve our mission, such as providing resources, or raising initiatives. Reach out to us or leave us with your contact information and we’ll get back to you.
You can support us through donations directly through the Foundation’s bank account. All donations are exclusively used for the purpose of our work programmes. Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss any donation and details discreetly. We will provide a donation receipt for your contribution.
We also welcome people of all ages with ideas to support their community. You can volunteer with us through language translation support, organizing meetups, or developing your own ideas to engage the community in matters of sustainability and wellbeing.
